CGS Sports Camps offer a three-day sporting experience, welcoming students from all schools during the school holiday. The camp focuses on general skill acquisition in an all-inclusive environment, followed by a specialised, elite programme concentrating on your child’s chosen sport. Our camps are for children from 8 to 13 years old, who are passionate about being active, love a team environment and are willing to learn how to take their sporting ability to the next level.
Physical literacy is a key component of our camp and athletic development. It is recognised as the foundation of physical, psychological, cognitive and social skills for both performance excellence and lifelong participation in any sport.
CGS Sport Camps recognises the importance of Physical Literacy to the athlete’s long-term development and has identified a need to better support and prepare current and potential athletes within this area.
To improve the Physical Literacy of participating and emerging athletes, CGS Sports Camps has engaged experts to develop our programme that incorporates these elements.
Our approach:

- Provides an opportunity to develop into a more dynamic player, utilising skills from other sports to strengthen their ability in their chosen sport
- Improves the general all-round athletic ability
- Introduces new sports and skills, allowing participants to decide what they really love
- Boosts self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and empowers any participant or athlete to recognise their own strengths, weakness and learning habits
- Fosters an enjoyment of an active lifestyle; and
- Enriches their social interaction skills.
Our dedicated staff are all qualified Physical Education teachers who also hold specialist coaching certificates. They have years of experience in developing physical, mental and social skills and wellbeing through sports. They are passionate about facilitating growth in young athletes, whilst providing a fun, inclusive and safe environment. Our professional staff are fully equipped with a range of sporting facilities at their disposal and training tools that will assist in developing a comprehensive skill base for our participants.
What distinguishes our experience, is the ability to tailor our programme to the needs of the individual. We, as educators, pride ourselves in being able to differentiate and cater for a variety of levels, from beginners through to advanced athletes.
